Dan Conston
CEO
Dan Conston is one of Washington’s most accomplished political strategists, with over 20 years of experience in management, strategy, and problem solving at the highest levels of American politics.
Most recently, Dan served as President of the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), the super PAC aligned with House Republican leaders, becoming a trusted advisor to two Speakers of the House. Over his six-year tenure, CLF was widely considered the driving force in picking up 15 seats in 2020, winning the U.S. House Majority in 2022, and holding the Majority in 2024.
During Conston’s tenure, CLF and its affiliated 501c4, American Action Network, raised a record-shattering $871 million as the groups became a behemoth in American politics and spawned countless careers of exemplary Members of Congress.
Speaker Mike Johnson calls Conston “a visionary” and that “Keeping our Majority would not have been possible without my friend Dan Conston.” Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy calls Conston “one of the sharpest political minds in the business,” while Majority Whip Tom Emmer said, "Dan Conston knows how to do the only thing that matters in politics: WIN.”
Conston was named the national “MVP” of the 2020 election cycle by the American Association of Political Consultants. He serves on the boards of WinRed, the GOP’s small-dollar fundraising platform, and America Rising, the GOP’s outside research apparatus.
Prior to leading CLF, Conston ran a strategy and media production firm advising candidates, donors, and Fortune 100 companies. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at CLF during the Speakership of John Boehner, as well as senior campaign roles that helped elect Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. Rick Scott, and Sen. Jerry Moran.
Golf Digest named Conston #21 on their “Washington D.C.’s Top 100 Golfer’s” list of political golfers. Dan lives in suburban Washington with his wife Kara and their two children.
